Pelosi Fail: “Tax Cuts Are Spending” : Political Outcast Liberals have always beleived that everythying belongs to the government so in their illogical minds Nancy is right ! She’s presupposing that the government owns all our income. If it truly did, then she’d be right. But just because the government forces Americans at the barrel of a gun to give up portions of their incomes doesn’t mean that it must be OK for them to confiscate our wealth. They have to use force to do it, because they know deep in their dark hearts that it’s morally wrong to steal, and forcing us is the only way we’ll give it up.
To the more rational-minded, a tax cut is simply the government letting us keep a little more of our own income. I’m all for tax cuts. The government isn’t having to spend any additional money in order to cut someone’s taxes. It’s just simply not going to be able to take as much.
