? We should demand the same transparency of our representatives! The leadership
on both sides does not like this idea He is steadfast in his support of the
rule of law and has angered the Washington crony community and the House
leadership with his unbending adherence to the Constitution. He is transparent.

famous for obeying orders without question. Given the order, they would
gladly have fought to the last man and the last bullet in defense of
our embassy. They were not given that order. Instead they were
instructed to retreat to a civilian airport for evacuation, destroying
their personal weapons in the process. I cannot help but wonder how many
of these gallant defenders of America were wiping away tears of anger
as they obeyed those politically inspired orders handed down from a
traitorous State Department.

ended in abject defeat -- the same percentage of Americans are in
poverty now as were in 1967, when the “war” was initiated -- but
stripped the poor of their one consistent network of support: the
family. That sad and completely predictable result would be enough to
prove the point. But the complex ramifications of the many bad
decisions and ill-considered legislative “fixes” are too numerous to
recount in a single column and could not be remedied without a wholesale
repeal that undid damage to the poor that has played out over 40
years. It would take another 40 years to remedy it. But we need not go
back that far. The Left’s war on the poor and working classes
continues and is accelerating.

NoGoZones?
This has been reported for years. The New York Times reported in April 2002, “Arab gangs regularly vandalize synagogues here, the North African suburbs have become no-go zones at night, and the French continue to shrug their shoulders.” And Newsweek said in November 2005: “According to research conducted by the government’s domestic intelligence network, the Renseignements Generaux, French police would not venture without major reinforcements into some 150 ‘no-go zones’ around the country–and that was before the recent wave of riots began on Oct. 27.
Just two weeks ago, the New Republic wrote: “The word banlieue (‘suburb’) now connotes a no-go zone of high-rise slums, drug-fueled crime, failing schools and poor, largely Muslim immigrants and their angry offspring.”
